Why Time Blocking Has Become One of My Favorite Productivity Hacks
Feeling Like There's Never Enough Time?
Running a business means there's always something that needs your attention. Emails, social media, client work, invoicing, meetings... the list never really ends. I used to jump from one task to another all day, and by the end of it, I'd feel busy but not very productive.
One thing that's made a huge difference for me is time blocking. Setting aside dedicated time on your calendar to focus on specific tasks. Instead of squeezing things in whenever I remember them, I'll block out time to answer emails, work on client projects, plan content, or review my upcoming week.
Why I Recommend It
Time blocking doesn't make your to-do list disappear, but it does make it feel a lot more manageable. It gives your day some structure, helps you stay focused, and makes it easier to set boundaries with your time.
If you've been feeling overwhelmed or like you're constantly playing catch-up, give it a try. Start by blocking off just 30–60 minutes each week to plan ahead, review your calendar, and prioritize what actually needs to get done.
